File Handling & Data Privacy

Your Excel files are uploaded over an encrypted connection (TLS/SSL). Files are processed on our servers to perform the comparison and are stored temporarily to allow you to view results. We do not sell, share, or use the contents of your files for any purpose other than providing the comparison service to you.

If you use our AI-powered analysis feature, a sanitized summary of changes (not your raw file data) may be sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the analysis. You can control the privacy level of AI analysis in the comparison settings.

Sharing & Shared Links

When you create a shareable link for a comparison, anyone with that link can view the comparison results in read-only mode. You can revoke shared links at any time. We do not publicly list or index shared comparison links.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe for payment processing
• Cloud hosting providers for infrastructure
• AI providers for optional AI-powered analysis (with sanitized data only)

These providers have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Comparison data is retained based on your plan (free accounts: 30 days, paid accounts: 90 days). Uploaded files are automatically deleted after processing is complete. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure password hashing, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
